Hand made smash book swap!

so ok here is my smash book i made for the 

hand made smash book 

my partner is cayla 

this is a scrappy divas face book group swap 

i had to sit long and hard thinking of how i was going to pull this one 

off cause it was way out of my crafting comfort zone lol

so i asked her what her craft likes were and she told me 

goth, grunge and steam punk and 

out of those choices this is what i chose to make :-)

Alter 1 jar into a pincushion swap

so here is my little jar for my partner Mimi 

i really hope she likes it 

she told me she really likes the shabby chic 

theme and soft pinks and creams so 

this is what i came up with i use 

a lot of lace and trim and a shabby scraps goodies 

(ie: shabby crack - a long running messy desk joke) 

and i even used some glass bobbles as little feet 

this is my cutie stick pin cushion i got from my partner mimi 

i just love how it reminds me of ice cream hehe 

i love the cute lil' butterfly on the front

month of junes DT project for Birelanddesigns.com altered

I'm calling it Paris couture girly grunge!

so this is my very first project for birlanddesigns.com and i have to tell you it felt sooooooo very good getting back to my first love.... after i ventured to crafting outside of scrapbooking and card making i started altering and love the look of grunge! but any one who knows me knows any thing i may come up with it needs slashes of color so i started adding pinks to the browns and green and purples and what happened girly grunge hehe so exciting right lol well any who i was so thrilled the moment Barb @ Birelanddesigns.com asked me if i would like to be part of her design team with all the sweet products she offers i would have be half crazy to say no lol well when the first package arrived i have to admit i gasped i got to play with products from companys like pink paislee  and glitz designs and then the hand died shabbys and pettaloo flowers and scrumptious lace oh i could go on and on but any who this is what i came up with and i have to admit cutting up that french kisses paper by glitz was heart breaking but i love what i created with it!!!
